Sangweni appeared to Prophet Miracle Paul of New Revelations Ministries in Warren Park where he claims he was instantly healed with anointed oil and prayer.

During the church service, the former Highlander star was prophesied of his condition while he was seated within the crowd. The 32-year -old man was called upfront and asked to remove his shoes as the prophet applied anointed oil on his knee and leg.

Soon after the church service, H-Metro had a chance to hear Sangweni’s testimony and ordeal which led to his injury and how he was dumped by Highlanders.

“I am still shocked right now, I don’t how this prophet got to know about my knee and my career but the extensive pain I was feeling on my knee when I came has since disappeared” said Sangweni.

He said it was his second time coming to New Revelations Ministries after an invitation from his sister.

“I joined Highlanders under Madinda Ndlovu’s tenure in early 2009. During that year I played in all matches as a striker. Unfortunately, my knee got injured while I was training in South Africa,” said Sangweni with a sad face.

“After the injury, I could not play football again. Since then I stopped pursuing my career as I was trying to raise money for treatment by coaching other small teams.”

Sangweni continues his narration: “sadly, during the same period, Madinda lost his job as coach and when I approached the team for medical assistance, the new team coach refused to assist me. The new coach was against Madinda’s methods and against all the players that joined Highlanders through Madinda.”

The former Highlanders striker said he felt rejected because the team just left him piled with exorbitant costs for further examination and surgical operation of his leg.

“Although I still have Highlanders at heart, the team betrayed me. It was supposed to have catered for my medical bills since I got injured while I was training with the team. Instead they just abandoned me, ” he said.

“For the past six years I had no hope that my leg was going to heal since I had no money for the operation. But today (last Saturday), I thank God for Prophet Miracle Paul, through his prayers and my healing, my hope is restored. The pain is no more and I want to continue praying to God for this and go back to my team again.” H Metro
