Musona brace sinks Anderlecht
Bafana Bafana midfielder Andile Jali featured off the bench, while Knowledge Musona bagged a brace as Belgian log leaders Oostende beat Anderlecht 3-1 on Sunday.
Former Orlando Pirates star Jali came on in the 77th minute of the tie for Frenchman Kevin Vandendriessche.
Ex-Kaizer Chiefs forward Musona, who joined Jali at Oostende in December, scored either side of teammate Gohi Bi Zoro’s 64th minute goal at Albertparkstadion.
The result leaves Oostende with 10 points from four games – two points ahead of Gent.
Meanwhile, Jali’s compatriot Lebogang Phiri scored for Brondby in a 4-0 demolition job of Viborg in the Danish Superliga.
Phiri netted in stoppage time following a double strike from Teemu Pukki and effort from Johan Elmander. Brondby are ninth in the standings. KickOff.com
