It seems 2015 is going to be a great year for DJ Fresh (Thato Sikwane) and his wife, Thabiso Sikwane. They announced her pregnancy recently.
Speaking to The Citizen newspaper, Thabiso Sikwane, who is a Power FM presenter, said she was looking forward to her expanding her family with celebrity DJ hubby, DJ Fresh.
“I’m very excited about this year. I feel I’m in the right space for a baby and a new radio show.”
The Sikwanes have two children, a boy and a girl. The couple have yet to divulge what the sex of their new baby is.
Sikwane, who has taken over Azania Mosaka’s 12 – 3pm slot at Power FM said that she will be switching things up with a bit more music and will also be talking a lot about cooking.
“I want a lot more music, laughter and cooking on the show. And not just quick recipes – real recipes that people at home can follow and enjoy.”
She said that although she is a big fan of her predecessor, she does not want to be like her.
“But I’m not trying to be her. I just want to establish a different relationship with the listeners and put my own stamp on the show.”
