Two men, who were working as security guards at jailed Robert Gumbura’s house, walked out of the Harare magistrates’ court all smiles after they were cleared of the offences they were facing.

Simbarashe Musiiwa and Tendai Mandevani, both aged 35, were acquitted of the obstruction of justice charges they were facing.
The duo was taken to court on the accusation of obstructing the duties of police officers who were investigating their employer’s rape cases.
It was alleged that the two attempted to bar a police detail from entering the RMG End Times Message Church pastor’s house while conducting investigations.
Magistrate Victoria Mashamba heard that during the time the police were conducting investigations in the 57-year-old’s rape cases, a cop identified as Edward Muterere went to No. 6 Helana Close Marlborough house where the two were manning the entrance.
Musiiwa and Mandevani reportedly locked the gate and barred the police officer from entering the premises.
Prosecutor Nyikadzino Machingura alleges that the incident occurred on October 12 last year after the police officer failed to execute his duties.
It was said that the two denied the cop entry although he had identified himself as a police officer.
However, the two were cleared of the charge after a full trial.
