Live Updates: Nehanda Citizen Reports for 27 November 2013

Latest on the death of Oppress Nsingo

“Pliz Nehanda Radio help as usual to publish this gory act by CID operatives and affluent gold miners in Mberengwa. A young man by the name Opress Nsingo was shot and killed by unknown people in the wee hours of Thursday last week.

This happened after Mai Priscilla Maposa who is the step mother to the deceased picked up close to one kilogram of gold. Known CID police officers and wealthy small scale miners tried by all means to rob the widow of that gold. The deceased is believed to have warned Mai Priscilla of the plot by CID officers to rob her. That is the reason why the young man was killed. The CID officers are based in Mberengwa.”

Sexual abuse of students in Mberengwa

“Here in Mberengwa South a teacher (Mr Chitova) @ Funye High School was given his marching orders by the head (Mr Hove) after he was found guilty of sexually abusing a form 3 student (name withheld for fear of victimisation).

The insider says staff members were suspicious and laid a trap….he was caught pants down…. So the question is, Why Shava C the Chabwira head failed to take a leaf from other administrators books and act accordingly when his deputy (Mutsenhuri) impregnated a form 4 student? Nobody is above the law.”

Storm brewing at Ingagula Primary School (Zesa Hwange)

“A storm is brewing between parents and the deputy head and SDA at Ingagula Primary School Zesa Hwange. The problem started when the deputy head a Mr Dube in cahoots with the SDA chairman went ahead and increased school fees from US$35 to US$60 without the consent of the parents.

Now because of this wrangle, the parents are now petitioning for the removal of Mr Dube the deputy head and the dissolving of the SDA committee led by a Mr Ndokanga. The parents are crying foul that they increased fees yet the school now is more like ruins.

The company which the school falls under Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) Hwange is neglecting the school and its unbelievable that a company like ZPC can be custodians of such a school. The ministry of education should investigate what is taking place at Ingagula primary as a matter of urgency before anything ugly takes place.”

Mugabe should remain in Singapore

“He is nearly 90 years old, weak and chronically ill, yet he is an absolute ruler with a highly controversial mandate of another 5 year term. The man Mugabe rules over a highly divided people, a comatose economy, one of the most corrupt countries, a bondaged and fearful populace (unemployed and harassed people).

Does Zimbabwe really need this old man, is Zimbabwe promising with him dead or alive? Should he come back from Singapore waving his tired fist and taking us nowhere or should he remain there and expire and give the people another restart?”

Mismanagement at Printflow

“After the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) handsomely paid PRINTFLOW, the board of directors still think the workers do not deserve annual bonuses. The Ministry of Finance must act on the poor management style of Takawira and company.”
