ZIMBABWE international and Kaizer Chiefs striker, Knowledge Musona, has been ruled out of action for six weeks following a shoulder injury suffered during a Telkom Knockout penalty win over Free State Stars on 20 October.

According to the club’s official website, Musona’s injury was not an “ordinary shoulder injury.”
Team Physiotherapist Dave Milner said the injury would also depend on how the Smiling Assassin, as Musona is nicknamed, responds to treatment.
“We are monitoring him and we have anticipated about six weeks as a period of recovery,” Milner is quoted telling the club’s website.
Musona will miss matches against Wits University, Mamelodi Sundowns, Platinum Stars and Free State Stars. He is set to return for the Pretoria University match mid next month.
Meanwhile, former Gunners defender Zhaimu Jambo has started full training with the Absa Premiership reigning champions after a long term injury suffered during the 2012-2013 season, the club reported yesterday. Jambo last played for Kaizer Chiefs in the 2-3 loss to Wits University on 19 October 2012.
