HARARE – Zimbabwe Warriors striker Knowledge Musona has been officially unveiled as a Scottland FC player and will this season line up alongside his young brother Walter Musona.
The former Kaizer Chiefs forward was unveiled at Rufaro Stadium, where Scottland were playing against Yadah.
Musona will link up with his younger brother, Walter, who also plays for Scottland.
The 35-year-old becomes the latest high-profile player to return to the Zimbabwean top-flight league, following in the footsteps of Kundai Benyu, who signed for CAPS United at the start of the season.
Musona was recently released by Saudi Pro League side Al-Okhdood, where he spent one season.
He parted ways with the club alongside six other foreign players: Nigerian winger Savior Godwin, Guinean forward Ousmane Barry, Jamaican defender Damion Lowe, and Brazilian trio Paulo Vitor, Petros Matheus, and Diego Souza.
Despite playing a crucial role in helping Al-Okhdood Club avoid relegation in the Saudi Pro League, Musona was released by the club.
He has now gone back to Zimbabwe with Scottland FC who are owned by gold baron and MP Scott Sakupwanya.
