Kaizer Chiefs squad to face Liverpool Legends

JOHANNESBURG — Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the legends squad that will do battle against their Liverpool counterparts in an exhibition soccer match on November 16.

The two clubs, both boasting a rich history of success in their respective countries, will lock horns in Durban as they look to give fans a trip down memory lane.

Big names making the trip for the Reds are said to include world football legends like John Barnes, Steve McManaman and Robbie Fowler.

All three are seen as through and through Anfield legends, which should make for a good spectacle for fans. There are also some big names in the Chiefs’ squad with the likes of Shane MacGregor, Shoes Moshoeu, Lucas Radebe and Ace Khuse among them.

At this stage it appears likely that an experienced leader like Radebe will captain the side.
