LONDON – Promoters who have brought Zimbabwean dancehall stars Jay C and Loud H into the UK have announced that Friday’s leg of the tour in London has been moved to next Friday (18 October) after the venue Cue Bar was double booked by its owners.

Shows in Birmingham (Saturday 12 October) and Milton Keynes (Sunday 13 October) will go ahead as planned. One Heritage promoter Osa Dangerzone told Nehanda Radio “the Saturday show will now be our first one and doors open from 9pm to 4am while the Sunday show which is a family event starts 2pm to 2am.”

“Those who had purchased tickets for the London show this Friday have got the option of attending the Birmingham show (Saturday) or wait till Friday next week or they can get a refund if they so wish,” Osa told Nehanda Radio. He explained that the changes to Friday’s show was beyond their control.

While Jay C has already made his mark on the dancehall scene after touring the UK twice, the most recent being several months ago with Freeman and Lady Squanda, the new kid on the block Loud H (Mbada) is promising fireworks. “We are in the UK to introduce skiri re Mbada,” Loud H promised.
