Zanu PF politician described as an ‘ungrateful destitute and liar’

RUSAPE businesswoman and property mogul Loveness Nyamundanda (nee Maganga) has stabbed a knife deep into her ex-lover and politician Albert Nyakuedzwa describing him as an “ungrateful destitute-turned-materialist and liar”.

Nyamumndanda was quoted in the weekly Manica Post accusing the ex-jailbird of abusing courts and police to avoid paying back at least $24 000 and other items he owes her. The money and other materials changed hands during the consummation of their three year adulterous affair.

Nyakuedzwa’s brother, Simbarashe, has also weighed in and described his brother as a con-artist.

Last Friday Nyakuedzwa dragged her to court over household property she seized on September 4 at House Number 765 Castle Base, Rusape, which had gained the notoriety of being their sexual rendezvous.

The acrimonious divorce will see the antagonistic pair becoming frequent clients at Rusape Magistrates Court.

Nyakuedzwa, a politician who is not new to controversy, has made a formal complaint of unauthorised borrowing – as defined by Section 116 of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act – against Nyamundanda – a widow for 16 years.

In the report, recorded by one Constable Kamwendo on September 18, 2013 at Rusape Central Police Station under CR Number 155/9/2013, Nyakuedzwa said his ex-lover seized a 21 inch Plasma, curtains, irons, blankets, bed linen, a heater, a Dstv decoder and kitchen utensils among other items valued close to a $1000.

Nyakuedzwa – who last week blew the lid off the alleged adulterous relationship with the prominent and widowed businesswoman by seeking the protection order from the court – claims that Ms Nyamundanda bizarrely stormed and ransacked his house after he turned his back on her.

“I recall on the 4th of September at around 2300hrs when I was asleep (at House Number 765 Castle Base, Rusape) Loveness Nyamundanda phoned saying she is by the gate and she wanted to see me immediately.

“I went to the gate and upon unlocking it, she rushed into my yard and went inside my house. She started packing my belongings.

“She cited that because I had decided to end the affair, she had to collect the goods. While she was still in the act, and having loaded some of the property into her vehicle, my wife Happiness Nyakuedzwa arrived. She was furious, but I managed to calm her down.

“My wife took photographs of the whole event and pictures are available in her cell phone. Loveness Nyamundanda having packed to her satisfaction then drove away,” reads part of the report which this publication has in its possession.

Nyamundanda hit back at his former boyfriend describing him as an “ungrateful destitute and liar”.

“He is lying through his teeth. He is a liar. He wants to tarnish my business integrity and reputation. I did a lot of things for him, but he remains ungrateful.

“He owes me an excess of $24 000, and has resorted to also sorts of dirty tricks in a bid to avoid paying me. I challenge him to produce receipts of the items he is claiming.

He was a destitute without a home, and when I sympathised and made sure he had a roof under his head, after being (allegedly) kicked out by his wife, he turned back to bite the same hand that fed him,” said Ms Nyamundanda.

She accused Nyakuedzwa of stage-managing the September 4 incident by locking her inside the house before calling his estranged wife Happiness, to come over.

“He created all the drama in order to extort money from me. He locked me at the house I built for him and called his wife so that she catches us. The ploy was to ensure that his wife catches us together to form grounds for her to claim adultery damages.

“He is cunning, he is seeking a court order against me, and I do not know how he would want me to demand my money back. He never paid a cent for the material and construction work at the house he is staying. Itsotsi, anoda kundivhara, zvino akanyangira yaona.

“I took a loan to buy him that ML Mercedes Benz out of love, but he remains ungrateful. I am in a fix now because those people now want their money back yet he is playing all these tricks. He owes me so much and it appears all he wanted was to use me,” said Ms Nyamundanda.

Ms Nyamundanda, who also accused this reporter of sympathising with Nyakuedzwa, said she was determined to fight him legally. The two were expected to appear in civil court in a case in which Nyakuedzwa is seeking a protection against Ms Nyamundanda.

Ms Nyamundanda will be in the dock on the criminal case of unauthorized borrowing. Simba Nyakuedzwa said their family was against his brother’s actions.

He said: “We have tried to resolve this matter as a family, but he cannot listen. We do not support con artists as a family. Albert owes her a lot of money and he must pay her back. He is a conman”.
