HARARE – Tapfumaneyi Tavaziva, a billing supervisor based at the Rowan Martin Building in Harare is at the centre of a cheat storm after a local tabloid exposed his affair with his subordinate Helen Sibongile Matiza.

Tavaziva and Helen confirmed their affair. However Helen defended the relationship saying she is currently on separation with her husband (who works with Tavaziva) and she broke down into tears immediately after the interview.
It is believed that Tavaziva hatched a plan to cohabit with Sibongile in Westlea after he persuaded her to leave her husband only identified as Baba Love who resides in Glen View. The cheating couple’s affair was exposed only after the two workmates reportedly starting fighting over the responsibility of a child.
Sources say that (Baba Love) the unidentified meter reader, also based at Rowan Martin Building, has been threatening to expose Tavaziva’s shady deals at work if he loses Sibongile claiming that the child is his. Source’s say Helen is ‘milking’ Tavaziva after her affair with him reached her husband.
“We never expected Helen’s illicit affair with her boss to end like this after she took advantage of the absence of her husband who works in South Africa. Imagine she has three children with her husband and this third child is the one that two of our workmates are claiming responsibility for.
“Word going around Rowan Martin is that Helen is two-timing. “Helen used to cheat with the meter reader while he was staying in Glen View although she later started dating Tavaziva who is married to Mai Tafadzwa ,” said the source.
When Sibongile was asked for an interview she confirmed that Tavaziva was her boss at work and is the one responsible for the five month old child and not the metre reader. “I have nothing more to say because I am fully aware that my workmate has told you the whole story,” said Helen
Tavaziva said that he was now known at Sibongile’s family as she introduced him to her relatives and he is currently planning to marry her. “I am not aware of this metre reader claiming responsibility for my child, its news to me although I am aware that she was married.
“We fell in love four years ago and we became serious lovers in November last year after she introduced me to her sister and even her mother knows me,” said Tavaziva refusing to shed more light about his family and his contributions to the separation of Sibongile and her husband.
In another interview Baba Love denied being on separation with Sibongile.
“I was surprised to hear that my wife was heavily pregnant after I returned home to attend a funeral and I heard that her boss was responsible. I had little time in Zimbabwe but my wife failed to explain and next thing I heard was that she had relocated from Glen View to an unknown place.
“As we speak, I am not aware of where she is with my kids and my property.”
