A 19-year-old Zimbabwean woman, Fiona Sibanda who has been battling cancer died at the Bradford Infirmary Hospital in the United Kingdom.

Fiona who was a student passed away on July 4 while her father was in Zambia. He is now back in Bradford and is making burial arrangements for his daughter. Zimbabweans in the UK are now raising funds for the burial.

“As a father who wasn’t working and the body of her daughter lying in Bradford Infirmary Hospital, Bradford Association for Zimbabweans is kindly appealing to every Zimbabwean to donate any amount towards the cremation of Fiona’s body since taking her to Zimbabwe or a proper burial here in U.K. proved very costly. He needs to raise £2 800 before Thursday the day the body will be cremated. Her ashes will be sent to Zimbabwe for burial.
