BULAWAYO- Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai has said the MDC-T and Zimbabwe have lost a dedicated and determined heroine in Senator Enna Chitsa whom he described as unshaken even in her fight against an unrepentant regime. She was 66.
The Masotsha-Ndlovu Senator died last week and was buried at Lady Stanley cemetery in Bulawayo on Monday. Speaking at the burial Tsvangirai said it was because of the wisdom of the likes of the late Mai Chitsa that leaders of the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) and the MDC-T got guidance.
Senator Chitsa had low blood pressure, which was complicated by recently discovered diabetes and died at her Luveve home on March 2, at about 5 am. She leaves behind 3 children and 10 grand children and 11 great grand children. Nehanda Radio.com
