Hip Hop star Akon is expected in Zimbabwe on Thursday for the much anticipated show with Jamaican dancehall sensation Sean Paul at the National Sports Stadium in Harare.
Sean Paul is expected to jet in on Friday while press reports say some of the members from both artists respective bands are already in the country preparing for what has been dubbed the ‘Real Deal Concert.’
Getting a chance to shine as part of the supporting acts will be sexy UK based singer Cynthia Mare while some of the local artists set to perform include Winky D, Stunner, Roki and Soul Bone.
Closing the show will be the aptly named ‘Sungura Revenge’ segment featuring Alick Macheso, Sulumani Chimbetu and Kapfupi. Prince Tendai Mupfurutsa of Zimswag Entertainment is behind the show with tickets ranging between $15 and $100.
