Al Hilal of Sudan had signed the player, but he is now on his way back to South Africa…

Bidvest Wits have recalled winger Edward Sadomba from Al Hilal, after the Sudanese failed to honour an agreed transfer deal.
The South African club transferred Sadomba a fortnight ago after agreeing in principle with the Sudanese club.
However, over the weekend, Stan Whiting, the Bidvest chief executive officer, told Standardsport that the player had been recalled after Al Hilal reneged on their promise to pay for the former Dynamos winger.
“Edward has been in Sudan for the past week but I am afraid we are forced to recall him with immediate effect given that no attempt has been made by the Sudanese club to honour the payment to secure the deal,” Whiting said in statement.
There have been reports of late payment of salaries at Al Hilal, although the club has dismissed them on its official website. Whiting did not say what the club’s next step would be after recalling Sadomba.
But it is understood Bidvest Wits have enquiries from Greece and Poland for the player. Sadomba joined the South Africans late last year on a three-year contract but was immediately loaned to Mozambique because the club had already exhausted its quota of foreign players.
It was during his tenure at Liga Muculmana that Al Hilal came in with a bid which Bidvest Wits accepted. The Sudanese signed Sadomba to strengthen their squad ahead of the group phase of the CAF Champions League, which kicks off on 19 July. Goal.com
