Radio and TV legend Ezra ‘Tshisa’ Sibanda told Nehanda Radio that Mahlangu was in the Intensive Care Unit before he succumbed to his injuries.

A day before this accident MDC secretary-general Ms Priscilla Misihairabwi Mushonga, along with party spokesperson Mr Nhlanhla Dube, prominent Bulawayo lawyer Mr Sindiso Mazibisa and a driver were injured when a Jeep Cherokee they were travelling in hit a cow 60 kilometres before Bulawayo.

Last week Wednesday the MDC-T president Morgan Tsvangirai, who was accompanied by some senior members of the party, visited Moyo and his injured colleagues. Tsvangirai visited Moyo in his ward and spent close to an hour with him. The MDC-T chairman is said to be in a stable condition.
