OXFORD – As speculation swirls over a rekindled romance, rapper Desmond “Stunner” Chideme poured his heart out to ex-wife Olinda Chapel on her birthday, expressing regret over past mistakes and his desire to make amends.
The pair set tongues wagging after appearing arm-in-arm at the recent Zimfest, their public display of affection fuelling rumours that they may be officially back together.
In the past, both had denied reigniting their love, but their cosy reunion told a different story.
In a heartfelt social media post, Stunner spoke of the longing he had felt for Olinda over the years:
“I could ask for us to start it all over again for years past but I have never forgotten your birthday, whether being with you or missing you because of past mistakes.
“I hope to make this and many other years to come the best birthdays you could possibly have. Happy birthday my love, stay blessed always.”
Olinda, for her part, showed off some of the lavish gifts she received from the musician, including stylish high heels, chocolates, and roses.
The two divorced in 2017 after a highly publicised and messy breakup. Olinda went on to marry another musician Tytan, in 2018, with the couple separating in August 2019.
They later renewed their vows at the Fairview Hotel in Windsor, UK, in July 2022, but spent much of 2023 in the headlines amid rumours of another split. The pair reportedly called it quits that same year.
