In my last contribution to the political circus obtaining in Zimbabwe caused most by impostor Sengezo Tshabangu, I encouraged all the people who have been involved in the CCC leadership to seriously reflect on the opinion piece, do some soul-searching, and if they found it useful, reach out to each other to strategize to rescue Zimbabwe from the jaws of the Zanu PF dictatorship.
I reiterate the same point that the Professor Welshman Ncube-led CCC needs to sit down with the Jameson Timba-led CCC, talk, and agree on the way to flash out Tshabangu and the other desperate fortune seekers he appointed to the House of Assembly and Senate after recalling to those positions under Advocate Nelson Chamisa’s leadership.
It was the ruling given on the Jameson Timba-led CCC’s application that was used to block Tshabangu’s December recalls.
Interestingly though, the Professor Ncube led CCC had accepted Tshabangu’s appointments through political blindness, and possibly greed.
I say greed because when it had been given to those they wanted to benefit, they smiled and acknowledged that it was Tshabangu whose signature pillars of government had accepted. However, they cried foul when others, not them, were made to eat.
All the same, though they learn late, they must be fully aware now that it is the Zanu PF plant Sebenzo Tshabangu who is the enemy of progress, not Advocate Chamisa as some excitable Professor-led CCC faction members have been heard to say.
It is now clear to every CCC member that Tshabangu is a Zanu PF member. No opposition party in any country can campaign for a ruling party as Tshababgu has done to accept that Zanu PF must rule forever, and Emmerson Mnangagwa must die in office.
Tshabangu should know that Grace Muage wanted Mugabe to die in office, and was to push in in a wheel-borough to work. That never happened, so Tshabangu must know that Mnangagwa, just like Mugabe, may not complete the term of office in which things started falling apart like they are doing now.
I would want to think that even some of the 33 legislators who were forced, persuaded to attend the Zanu PF gathering at Mnangagwa’s Precabe Farm, or willingly went out of their own evolution, were embarrassed when Tshabangu stood up to say as ‘leader’ of the opposition he supports Zanu PF’s continued stay in power.
In my view, continued haggling by ‘genuine opposition’ plays into the hands of Zanu PF. Work together to get rid of Tshabangu and the other impostors from Parliament, and resolve other differences later.
I say ‘genuine opposition’ because there could be one or two Sebenzo Tshabangu’s hanging in there. But he/she knows is a genuine CCC formed under the leadership of Nelson Chamisa in their hearts of hearts are those that I address here.
