English League One side Birmingham City are reportedly leading the race to sign Zimbabwe Warriors utility midfielder Andy Rinomhota who is set to leave Cardiff City this summer.
Apart from Birmingham City, English journalist Darren Witcoop suggests Rinomhota has caught “interest from a number of clubs” in England.
He took to his social media platform, X, to reveal the potential transfer deals, specifically mentioning Birmingham City are among the interested clubs.
“Cardiff midfielder Andy Rinomhota the subject of interest from a number of clubs,” wrote Witcoop.
“Expect to leave this summer with Birmingham among those exploring a deal as they search for a defensive midfielder.”
The 27-year-old returned to Cardiff City recently after spending six months on loan at Rotherham United.
Rinomhota was part of the Warriors World Cup qualifier squad that played Lesotho and South Africa in June.
