HARARE – Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions Scottland FC have parted ways with head coach Tonderai Ndiraya, just four days after the team’s coronation in Gweru.
Ndiraya joined Mabvirawira at the start of the season after leaving last year’s champions Simba Bhora.
Announcing Ndiraya’s departure Scottland said in a statement: “The club and head coach, Tonderai Ndiraya, have reached a mutual agreement not to renew his contract, which concludes at the end of this season.
“We would like to express our sincere appreciation for his commitment, professionalism, and service during his time with the club.
“His contribution and dedication to the team have been highly valued, and we extend our gratitude for the role he has played in the growth and development of our players.
“He led Scottland to a historic league title in his debut Premier Soccer League season, earning us a ticket to the CAF Champions League.”
Meanwhile, rumors suggest that former Warriors coach Michael Nees is among the options being considered to take over.
Former FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza and ex-Warriors gaffer Kalisto Pasuwa are also reportedly being linked to the club.
