VIENNA – Outspoken social media influencer Tatelicious Karigambe has opened up by revealing that she’s no longer on talking terms with her son, Tanyaradzwa, after he said, “he doesn’t want a father who is now a woman.”
The socialite based in Vienna, Austria, was responding to one of her followers who asked her why she wasn’t talking about her son anymore on any of her videos.
Tatelicious then said, “The matter of fact is, we are no longer on talking terms with my son. He said he was not comfortable having a father who is now a woman. He is 18 years old, and I respect his decision.”
She went on to clarify that, though Tanya disowned her, she will continue taking care of him because she’s the one who took him away from his mother back in 2018.
“He is still going to school and living with my mom. I didn’t disown him; he disowned me,” she said.
She added, “I didn’t stop his upkeep, remember he is the one who came looking for me back in 2018. We did DNA tests, and they confirmed that I am the father.
“I took him away from his mom in South Africa and took care of him. We are not talking right now, that’s where we stand, and I respect his decision.”
Tatelicious rose to prominence when she underwent her sex change operation and became a gay rights activist.
She has since grown in prominence amassing nearly 1.1 million followers across her various social media accounts including 600 000 on Facebook, 332 000 on TikTok, 94 000 on Instagram and 36 000 subscribers on YouTube.
