BULAWAYO – A devastated Brian Banda’s mother seen here on her son’s portrait at the Amphitheatre following the FC Platinum midfielder’s burial at Lady Stanley Cemetery earlier today.
The moment turned even more heartbreaking when she tearfully asked for the portrait, before FC Platinum General Manager Denzel Mkandla, gently explained it belonged to Brian Banda’s family and would be placed in a car to be taken back home.

The FC Platinum midfielder (29) tragically passed away on Sunday following a horrific car accident while travelling from Zvishavane to Bulawayo.
Despite being rushed to hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The accident also claimed two other lives.
