Muchinguri aide Tatenda Dhege cheats death by a whisker in road accident

BUHERA – Tatenda Chinoda Dhege, Zanu PF director in the office of National Party Chairperson escaped death by a whisker on Friday night when his party Toyota Hilux Revo was involved in an accident.

Dhege works in the office of Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri at the party Headquarters in Harare.

Manicaland Acting Police Spokesperson Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka was not reachable for comment.

However, The Mirror is reliably informed that Dhege, who is also former Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe Manicaland Regional Manager was driving the white Toyota, registration AGE 2484 from Buhera Office.

He failed to stop at the road’s T junction with Murambinda – Chivhu Highway and proceeded into a bush where he hit a tree, according to sources.

He was going home from Buhera Office and was supposed to turn right into the highway on his way to Mashaka Village, Chief Nerutanga in Buhera.

The car rolled several times and landed on its roof.

It is suspected that the vehicle’s brakes failed, leading to the accident. Dhege did not sustain any injuries but the vehicle was heavily damaged.
