Northern Region Division One League outfit and moneybags Scottland Football Club’s players could receive an early Christmas present.

It comes after the club’s gold dealer owner Scott Sakupwanya promised them a hefty US$10,000 allowance each if they topple log leaders Mwos to earn Premier Soccer League promotion.

Addressing the players after Monday’s training session ahead of Wednesday’s crucial clash against DZ Royals, the Mabvuku-Tafara legislator revealed:

“I’m pledging US$10k for each player if we (Scottland) make it to the Premier Soccer League,” he declared.

Apart from the US$10k, Sakupwanya promised each player US$200 for each goal scored in the remaining four matches to complete the season.

Furthermore, US$1,500 was promised to each player for a match that finishes with a five goal and above scoreline in favour of the Sakupwanya owned side.

The mouthwatering incentives are set to be offered starting Wednesday afternoon when Scottland face off DZ Royals away at Rufaro Stadium.

Scottland are in second position on the log table, three points behind current log leaders Mwos who are in-form and look determined to secure top flight promotion.

However, Scottland could go level on points with Mwos.

This comes after the league is said to have controversially awarded them three points and three goals for their abandoned match against Karoi United in September.

Here are the remaining four fixtures for both Scottland and Mwos:

Scottland Last 4 games

DZ Royal Stars (Away) 23-24 October
Harare City (Away) 26-27 October

MWOS Last 4 games

Black Mambas (Away) 23-24 October
CC Mhangura (Home) 26-26 October
Norton Community (Home) 2-3 November
Agama (Home) 9-10 November
