Hadebe teed up Argentinian forward Luciano Acosta who found the net at the stroke of half time to level matters as hosts Cincinnati were trailing 1-0.

Nevertheless, Acosta’s goal was not enough to help Cincinnati come back into the match as they went on to concede two goals in the second half.

Hadebe started the match, making his second successive start for Cincinnati but was subbed off in the 55th minute.

After completing his move to Cincy, the former Kaizer Chiefs defender vowed that he wants to play his heart out.

“I’m so happy to join FC Cincinnati. I look forward to giving my all to fight for this club as we look to achieve our goals this season,” said Hadebe.

The Bulawayo born gangly defender is set to join the Zimbabwe national team camp in South Africa for the AFCON qualifiers against Namibia this week.
