Colourful Zimdancehall chanter Silent Killer has found himself in the spotlight again, after the emergence of videos of him being allegedly ejected from an airplane.
Silent Killer has been in the headlines recently for both his music and behaviour, with some alleging that he needs to go to a rehabilitation centre due to his alleged abuse of illicit substances.
In addition, the musician has been in a highly publicised feud with fellow dancehall artist Blot, which culminated in off-stage drama at the recent Harare Cup Clash.
So heated has the beef between the two camps become that, in addition to trading allegations of witchcraft, the confrontations have threatened to become physical.
In a video circulating on social media, Silent Killer can be seen surrounded by airline stuff, who some allege wanted to eject him from the flight because he was smoking marijuana.
In the video, one passenger can be heard uttering some of the chanter’s freestyle lyrics, as the drama unfolds.
In a post on social media on Monday, Silent Killer claimed that his critics were making a storm out of a teacup, as he was not being ejected from the plane as some suggested.
The chanter claimed that he was mobbed by some people after boarding the plane, hence the drama with the plane’s stuff.
“Haaaaa, I agree with you, I don’t want to talk about things, please leave Timbo to celebrate victory… We have been on the plane many times, guys, I am not crazy about arguing with people on the plane…
“When I got in, people gathered and were taking pictures, some were making noise and cheering… then the air hostesses did not understand.
“They checked my boarding pass, and people were shouting not to judge… They didn’t understand what was going on… We haven’t gone crazy yet… 21 September Tyoro album launch at Stodart Netball Complex.”
