Silent Killer arrested for alleged attempted murder of Fantan’s brother

Zim dancehall chanter Silent Killer real name Jimmy Mudereri has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of Tinashe Kamudyariwa (Ella B), DJ Fantan’s brother.

News about the arrest has been circulating on social media. Many online media outlets were saying the singer had been arrested for murder.

Chillspot founder and brother to the victim, Fantan confirmed the arrest to Nehanda Radio saying ‘it’s attempted murder not murder.’

“Ehe asungwa but it’s attempted murder not murder because munhu wacho achiri kufema,” he said.

He added that he doesn’t know what really happened because he was home.

“I do not know what really happened. I was home when the incident happened. What I know is they beat him and now he is in ICU,” said Fantan.

He also revealed that the three other men are currently on the run and their whereabouts are not known.

“Silent Killer was arrested on the spot but the other three men who were with him are currently on the run, no one knows their whereabouts,” he said.
