HARARE – Former Zimbabwe senior women’s national team manager Tafadzwa Bhasera who died early Sunday morning at her home in Eastlea, Harare has been laid to rest.
Bhasera, 38, was buried on Wednesday at Zororo Memorial Park in Harare.
This was after a church service attended by the likes of Alois Bunjira, the former CAPS United star, was held at Inner City United Methodist Church.
Warriors superfan Chris ‘Romario’ Musekiwa who was also present, expressed his sorrow following the death of Bhasera who once served as the Chief Executive Officer at Harare City.
“As the football fraternity we have lost a passionate, effective and dedicated football administrator.
“She was a jovial character and humble. Our deepest condolences to the bereaved family and friends, may they find strength and comfort in the Lord during this time of need. May her dear soul rest in peace.”
Bhasera’s death came a month after the Zimbabwean football fraternity was plunged into mourning following the death of former Dynamos and Gunners striker Norman Maroto.
