HARARE – Cash-rich and ambitious ZIFA Northern Region Division One side Scottland FC owned by gold dealer and Mabvuku legislator, Scott Sakupwanya, have officially unveiled Genesis ‘Kaka’ Mangombe as their new head coach.
This comes barely 24 hours after the youthful coach resigned from the helm at Dynamos following a string of poor results with his latest being DeMbare’s 1-1 draw with Bulawayo Chiefs on Sunday.
“We wish to advise all our stakeholders that the club has gracefully accepted the resignation of Genesis Mangombe as head coach of Dynamos FC with immediate effect,” Dynamos wrote.
“We want to thank Mr Mangombe for the services he rendered to the club and for all the achievements that the club attained during his tenure.”
With hope he will help them secure top flight league status, in a statement, Scottland announced Kaka’s arrival.
“….we have brought on board Genesis Mangombe. He is to take on the position of Head Coach, with immediate effect,” the club confirmed.
The move comes after Mangombe has been heavily linked with the club of late, after his future at Dynamos was now shrouded in uncertainty.
