“Look at the grocery store. They have a grocery store, it is beautiful. In Africa, baby, believe it,” Haddish said as she marveled at the grocery store.

Many decried the video as ignorant, as it exposed the fact that many Americans thought of Africa as a backward jungle.

The Girls Trip star claimed that she had been mistaken after reading a 2018 article with the headline: “Zimbabwe shops are empty, and prices are soaring.”

She tweeted: “I was told to bring food with me because they don’t have any, so imagine my joy when I witness the truth. The devil is a liar. I am proud of you, Zimbabwe”.

Haddish said she had been told that she needed to bring her own food when she came to the country.

“And why don’t they include this part? Zimbabwe has been growing in strength after getting their independence. Every country faces hard times.

“I was told to bring food with me because they don’t have any so imagine my joy when I witness to the truth. The Devil is a lie. I am proud of you Zimbabwe,” she said.

Haddish claimed that she wanted to open a food shop of her own, which would stock African produce.

“Look I am opening a grocery store back in America and I was thinking it would be very Good to have produce from Africa. So I am traveling the continent and finding Black farmers to do business with.

“When I Googled grocery stores in Zimbabwe this is the 1st thing that popped up soooo my heart was full of Joy to see that the nation had Grown and The devil is a lie,” she said.

These so celebrities are very ignorant, and it just goes to show what a bad influence these people really are, why did she come to Zimbabwe if she believed there was no food in our shops. These so called Afro Americans are have nothing positive to say about Africa, they should spend their voodoo money somewhere else.
