Comedienne Madam Boss marked her return from this year’s edition of the BET Awards in style, with a dinner organised to welcome her back registering a full house.
After being ridiculed by some on social media for hosting a dinner for merely attending an award ceremony in the United States, Madam Boss showed that there is some method to the madness with a dinner that was graced by prominent personalities from various fields.
The cheapest ticket at the dinner, where entertainment was provided by Culture Love, was US$100.
Despite the steep asking price, the night was a massive success, as friends, fans and associates all flocked through the doors for a night with the comedienne.
In a special tribute, Culture Love performed a song specifically tailored for Madam Boss, capturing her journey and achievements in the world of showbiz, much to the delight of gathered guests.
In a post on Facebook, Madam Boss thanked attendees for their support.

Last week, Madam Boss found herself rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest in US showbiz at Sunday’s BET awards, with the comedienne seen mingling and interviewing the likes of Ray J, Will Smith, Usher Raymond and Joe Thomas.
Other stars that Madam Boss was pictured with included rapper TI and singer-cum-actress Chloe Bailey.
