Tapera made these comments during an interview with ZIFA media on Monday, following the Warriors’ first training session before their crucial qualifier against Lesotho this Friday.

“We are still gathering information about them (opponents), but I can tell you that we are here to win, we are not going to try anything (except to win).

“We will give our all so that we do it not for us only, but everybody (back home) for team Zimbabwe,” said Tapera.

This means the recently appointed ex-Young Warriors coach is working over time studying the opponent’s tactics.

His first assignment is against Lesotho this Friday at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.

Thereafter, the Warriors will travel to Bloemfontein to face off South Africa at Free State Stadium on Tuesday.
