Magesi’s automatic promotion was confirmed last weekend.
This was after the University of Pretoria who were also chasing the sole ticket, drew 2-2 with Black Leopards, leaving Magesi leading the pack by eight points with two matches left.
“We are the champions,” Chipezeze, the ex-Baroka FC goalkeeper posted on Facebook celebrating the promotion.
Hs fellow countrymen and teammate, Chirambadare also took to Facebook to celebrate the triumph with a biblical quote.
“When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen. Isaiah 60:22,” he wrote.
