Simba Bhora coach Tonderai Ndiraya is reportedly facing the axe following a three game winless streak.
As reported by Zimpapers Sports, Ndiraya was given an ultimatum by club owner Simba ‘Buju’ Ndoro to collect four points in the next two games.
The publication suggested Ndoro was disappointed when the Shamva based side drew against Telone 1-1 last weekend.
His remarks come after Simba Bhora were coming from two successive defeats, against Bulawayo Chiefs (1-0) as well as Bikita Minerals (1-0).
“I’m very disappointed with how the team is playing, I would be lying if I said I’m satisfied with our commitment levels,” Ndoro told the publication.
“I have done everything in my power to meet the demands of the fans, players, and coaches. I deserve better in return not what is on the ground.
“We are not going to achieve our goals if we are comfortable with this pace and everything will not be the same if we fail to collect four points in our next two games,’’ added the businessman.
Ndoro’s sentiments could be a result of how the team spent money in the market during the off season transfer window.
Simba Bhora are one of the strongest, if not the strongest side on paper in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
Ndiraya bought 11 stars including former Soccer Star of the Year Walter Musona, Junior Makunike who was Dynamos’ key player last season, the pair of Malvin Mkolo and Mthokozisi Msebe who were Bulawayo Chiefs’ captain and playmaker last season.
On top of Musona, Makunike, Mkolo and Msebe, Ndiraya added two highly rated goalkeepers in the local league in Talbert Shumba and Taimon Mvula.
He also acquired the services of two dangerous attackers in Billy Veremu and Perfect Chikwende.
