Bulawayo giants Highlanders FC continued with their winning streak after edging Premier Soccer League (PSL) returnees Telone 2-0 at Bata Stadium in Gweru on Monday.

Rejuvenated striker Lynoth Chikuhwa who finished last season with one goal in as many games, and new signing Brighton Ncube scored for the Kelvin Kaindu coached side.

Chikuhwa got his second of the season in four matches while Ncube who arrived from Chicken Inn at the start of the season, finally opened his scoring account.

In Mutare, Harare giants Dynamos finally registered their first win of the campaign after defeating newcomers Bikita Minerals.

Central defender Kevin Moyo’s goal from the spot in the second half made the only difference to secure all three points for DeMbare.

The former FC Platinum and Chippa United man converted the penalty after Valentine Kadonzvo was fouled inside the box in the 51st minute.

CAPS United bounced back from their recent slump with a convincing 3-1 win over new boys Arenel Movers at Rufaro Stadium in Harare on Sunday.

The win came after Makepekepe had lost 1-0 to Bikita Minerals at the same venue on Thursday.

New acquisitions Lot Chiwunga and Ralph Kawondera scored for the Green Machine.

Chiwunga bagged a brace while Kawondera added another to propel Makepekepe to their second win of the season.

The Lloyd Chitembwe coached side has so far collected 6 points after four matches.

They won against ZPC Kariba (2-0) and Arenel Movers (3-1) and lost to Chicken Inn (1-0) and Bikita Minerals (1-0).
