Former SuperSport United striker Evans Rusike, is reportedly training with Yadah FC, sparking rumors of a potential signing.
The 33-year-old forward is currently a free agent after his stint with South African club Sekhukhune United ended in 2023.
Rusike’s training with Yadah FC probably suggests his desire to return to the domestic league after leaving for South Africa in 2015.
Rusike left the country in 2015 to join Maritzburg United from Hwange FC.
Reports claim Yadah who are having a bad start to the season, are keen to secure his services.
According to the Standard: “He (Rusike) has been training with Yadah lately, and the club is ready to add him into their books,” a source told the Alpha Media Holdings publication.
The potential signing could reunite Rusike with his compatriot Khama Billiat, who joined the Miracle Boys in January for a club record fee.
The two former Warriors forwards trained together in South Africa recently to maintain fitness.
It was before Billiat put pen to paper to sign for the prophet Walter Magaya owned side.
Rusike’s arrival could bolster Yadah FC’s attacking options.
With two goals in four games, the Harare based side is currently struggling in front of goal.
