The new deal will see the PSL receive US$2.265 million, while the Chibuku Super Cup will get US$1.125 million.

Per season, the Castle Lager PSL will receive US$$700,000 with the Chibuku Super Cup getting US$375,000.

Delta’s sponsorship of the PSL, dates back to 2011 when the multinational company came on board after the withdrawal of CBZ from sponsoring the domestic league in 2008.

This significant support from Delta whom the PSL Chief Executive Officer Kenny Ndebele once described as “our (PSL) long standing partner”, is good news to the ears of local football lovers.

Meanwhile, the upcoming 2024 season starts on Saturday with the Castle Challenge Cup match between league champions Ngezi Platinum Stars and Chibuku Super Cup winners Dynamos.

The much anticipated Premier Soccer League will then commence on 2 March.
