Belgian Pro League side KV Mechelen have secured the future of their promising and talented Zimbabwean winger Bill Antonio by extending his contract by three years until 2027.
The club made the announcement on their social media platforms on Friday.
“Bill Antonio extends his contract Behind the Barracks. The 21-year-old flanker will continue to shine in the yellow-red colors for a little longer,” posted the club on Facebook.
Antonio joined Mechelen from Harare giants Dynamos in 2022.
He was signed for the U-21’s before he was elevated to the senior team due to his impressive performances in the developmental side.
The 21-year-old winger has been impressive since earning promotion to the first team.
At the moment, he has scored two goals.
He scored on his senior team debut against Genk, scoring the winner in a match that ended 2-1.
The Prince Edward Academy graduate also scored against Belgian giants Anderlecht when they drew 2-2.
