Highlanders’ rising teenage star Prince Ndlovu set for trials in Croatia

Highlanders FC’s rising teenage star Prince Ndlovu is reportedly set for a month-long trial stint in Croatia after attracting interest from second-tier division side HNK Vokuvar 1991.

According to Chronicle, the young sensation who turned 17 in January has been invited for trials by HNK.

The publication revealed Ndlovu is set to fly this week as he is excepted in Croatia by February 10 and his trials end on March 9.

The Makokoba born promising star is said to have travelled to South Africa two weeks ago where he was waiting for his visa while training with Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.

Ndlovu got elevated to Bosso’s first team in June and made his debut in July against Manica Diamonds at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo.

Some at the club have dubbed him the “New Peter Ndlovu” after he became the youngest player in the club’s history to be promoted to the first team at the age of 16 years, 170 days.

Peter Ndlovu broke into the first team at the age of 16 years, 178 days, 33 years ago.
