Ex-Warriors striker Nyasha Mushekwi has extended his stay in the Chinese Super League after penning a new deal with his club Zhejiang Greentown FC.

The club confirmed Mushekwi’s contract extension in a statement issued Friday and shared on their social media platforms.

“We are delighted to announce that Zhejiang’s all-time top scorer Nyasha Mushekwi has renewed his contract with the club,” they wrote.

The 35-year-old big striker finished the season as the club’s top scorer with 18 goals, helping the team to finish on third position on the log standings.

He is also Zhejiang’s all-time leading top scorer with 52 goals after surpassing ex-Bafana Bafana striker Dino Ndlovu who once turned out for the club before leaving in April 2021.
