Champions FC Platinum offload five players, re-sign Perfect Chikwende

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League reigning champions FC Platinum have announced the release of five players as they prepare to defend their title in the upcoming 2023 league campaign.

The four time champions announced in a statement on Monday via their social media pages that they have parted ways with Blessing Moyo, Nigel Makumbe, William Stima, Onifade Abubakar and Evidence Tendayi.

Without wasting anytime, the Norman Mapeza coached side roped in Perfect Chikwende who is having his second dance with the Zvishavane based side.

He signs for Platinum after quitting the financial struggling Bulawayo Chiefs.

Chikwende had left Platinum in 2021 to ply his trade with Tanzanian giants Simba SC who later released him after terminating his contract when he had only spent one year at the club.

Meanwhile, besides Chikwende, Plasto as they are also nicknamed announced the arrival of winger Jarison Selemani and defender Misheck Ngwenya.

The newly arrived Platinum pair was with Cranborne Bullets and Triangle United respectively.
