Bosso vice-captain Nqobizitha Masuku joins Botswana top flight side

Bulawayo giants Highlanders Football Club vice-captain Nqobizitha Masuku has joined Botswana Premier League side Jwaneng Galaxy, the club has confirmed.

Masuku will reunite with his former teammate Daniel Msendami who has been on loan at the club before signing a permanent contract last week.

“The club would like to announce the departure of Vice Captain Nqobizitha Masuku,” Bosso posted on Facebook.

“Masuku has completed a permanent move to Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana. We are grateful for the contribution he made to the club during his stay at Bosso. We wish him well in his new endeavors. #Bosso #SIYINQABA.”

The 29-year-old former Bantu Rovers star has been a mainstay in Bosso’s midfield department particularly last season where he scored five goals.

Following Masuku’s departure, Bosso’s midfield department will now comprise of Adrian Silla, Darlington Mkuli, Mason Mushore together with newly promoted Gillian Nyathi who was playing for the club’s developmental side, Bosso 90.

The 21-year-old Nyathi is a utility player who can play in as many positions in the midfield and is being touted as Masuku’s direct replacement.
