UK based Zim actress Tanya Fear reported missing, ‘found safe’, in hospital

United Kingdom based actress Tanya Fear who was reported missing in Los Angeles has been “found safe” with her family confirming she was “being assessed at a local hospital”.
Reports began circulating on social media saying the actress was last seen last Thursday. On Monday evening her family said they “understand she is not physically harmed” and is “being assessed at a local hospital”.
“It is with great pleasure and relief to report that Tanya has been found safe by police today.”
“We understand that she is not physically harmed but, as a precaution, she is being assessed at a local hospital. We wish to thank the police, members of the public for their efforts in locating Tanya, as well as the outpouring of concern over the last several days.
“Tanya’s family are relieved and extremely grateful.”
A hashtag #FindTanyaFear had been created together with a Twitter account giving updates on the actress..
The 31-year-old’s manager Alex Cole, had told ABC News she was fine when he last saw her a week ago.
“Since she’s been here, she’s had a great career and this is just the beginning,” he said.
“We’re obviously concerned and hope we find out this is a simple mistake and we find her.”
Tweets seen by Nehanda Radio on the @FindTanyaFear accounts suggests she was last spotted in a Trader Joe’s supermarket in Santa Monica, California, although it seems her loved ones had still not been able to make contact with her.
Posting on Twitter, the cousin said: “UPDATE: Tanya was last seen on 12th September at Trader Joe’s on 7310 Santa Monica Blvd (close to N. La Brea Ave). Anyone in that area please keep your eyes open! Thank you for all the help! Contact @FindTanyaFear or (213)-927-2971”
Tanya, whose real name is Tanyaradzwa Fear was in the U.S. where she was set to pursue her newly found career in Stand Up Comedy.
She appeared in a number of international movies including Doctor Who and Kick-Ass 2.
The actress was recently in Zimbabwe where she held a number of workshops in Bulawayo and visited tourist destinations including the majestic Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park. Nehanda Radio
