Former Highlanders chairman Ernest “Maphepha” Sibanda died this morning at Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo.
The news was confirmed by his business partner Farai Chirongoma who said “It’s true. It has happened. He passed on about an hour ago at hospital.”

Sibanda played for Highlanders and CAPS United and at the time of his death was a board member at Bulawayo City Football Club.
