Zimbabwean music superstar Mukudzei Mukombe aka Jah Prayzah has thanked his fans for the career milestone of reaching 1 million YouTube hits in two weeks through his video success for the hit Watora Mari collaborated with Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz.

The musician yesterday (August 29) posted a celebratory video on social media thanking his fans for the support that helped him reach over 1 million views in less than 3 weeks.
This is certainly an achievement for Zimbabwean music considering that he has come second in reaching this milestone in exactly 18 days after Taps Mugadza’s video which has been the highest after getting 1 million in 17 days.
“I wish Diamond was here we could have shared this cake,” Jah Prayzah said in the video as they celebrated in a sing along to the track before going on to ecstatically lift the cake.
However this achievement clearly highlights just how local content is well able to have a great appeal online as well as encourage more artistes to use the internet to their advantage as it may visibly catapult their work’s reach and popularity.
Several fans have reacted to his thank you video by congratulating him, encouraging him as well as showing major appreciation for the track and the work well done.
Hopefully after this achievement by Jah Prayzah, more artists will take serious consideration for internet usage to take their works, in whatever genre, to greater heights. Nehanda Radio
