Youthful musician Tocky Vibes is slowly tracing back his dancehall roots with a collaboration with Chitungwiza based chanter Hwindi President.

This is Tocky’s first collaboration with a dancehall artiste and his second career collaboration on the song Maoyi Oyi.
Oyi oyi refers to a hairstyle.
Tocky’s first collaboration was this year with gospel singer Bethany Pasinawako on the song Chiedza off his latest singles collection.
The song was done at Chillspot Records in Mbare, arguably the home of Zim dancehall and had been circulating on social networks.
Tocky believes collaborations cannot be done with established artistes only.
“This is another collabo with Hwindi. We always do the unexpected, working with someone not because they are on top,” he said.
Tocky hailed Hwindi President’s artistry describing him as a good artiste.
“He is a very good musician, someone who is compatible to work with. We had a great experience and the song is out for all of our fans,”he said.
Tocky’s singles collection carries tracks such as Muroyi, Abroad, Kamunwiro and Muchandifunga among others.
The singles were produced at T Man’s Mount Zion, Oskid and JMP studios among others.
Tocky has been on a restructuring exercise, retracing his roots in Zim dancehall which made him a household name and critics believe he still has much to offer.
