‘Vampire killer was paid to murder’

GWERU – Alois Tapiwa Nduna, 26, alias Jackson Moyo, who is believed to be the country’s worst serial killer and blood-sucking rapist, was yesterday arraigned before the Gweru magistrate’s court facing five counts of murder and two of attempted murder.
Nduna aka Moyo, of Matanga village under Chief Jiri in Gokwe South, is a self-confessed satanist, who recently confessed to raping and murdering 13 women in different parts of the country.
He was not asked to plead when he appeared before Gweru magistrate, Judith Taruvinga for initial remand.
Nduna was remanded in custody to 26 May.
The State led by Pride Gomera alleged that on 9 October in 2013, Nduna was hired by four siblings, Precious, Sheila, Portia and Vheneka Chimonga to kill their aunt, Ruramai Zifungo, whom they accused of practising witchcraft and causing untold suffering in the family.
Gomera told the court that the siblings offered to pay Nduna a beast for the service.
Two days later, Nduna went to Zifungo’s homestead and forcibly gained entry into her bedroom hut and attacked her with an unknown object cracking her skull and inflicting deep lacerations on her face, the court heard.
Gomera said after committing the crime, Nduna was paid a beast and fled to Zambia in a bid to evade arrest.
He said on March 23, Nduna raped and murdered a milk vendor, Privilege Mutara, and allegedly dumped her body in a nearby bush.
Gomera said Nduna claimed that he sucked the victim’s blood.
The court heard that Nduna also attempted to kill Gladys Gwasunda who works for Chicken Slice in Mvuma on the following day. Gomera said Nduna tripped the woman to the ground and choked her but a passerby heard her screaming and came to her rescue.
On April 14 this year at around 4PM, the court heard, Nduna met the now deceased Rita Phiri along a footpath between Zvishavane District Hospital and Prince Street in Zvishavane.
The court heard that Nduna proposed to her and offered to pay $3 for sex to which she agreed.
Gomera said the two went to a secluded place and had sex after which Nduna strangled her and dumped her body in a nearby bush.
He said the woman’s body was later discovered by a passerby and was in an advanced state of decomposition.
Gomera said Nduna used the same method on an unidentified woman he met near Comoil in Zvishavane and strangled her after raping her.
He further alleged that on April 29 Nduna approached one Soneni Moyo who was at Mberengwa turn off along Zvishavane-Bulawayo highway and proposed to her.
Nduna offered to walk her home and after about 4km he strangled her and dumped her body in a nearby bush.
He stole money and two cellphones from her which he later sold in Masvingo.
Nduna attacked another woman Marceline Shoko and left her for dead after he held her tightly by the neck until she fell unconscious.
Shoko was discovered by passersby who rushed her to hospital.
Meanwhile, Nduna is allegedly still vomiting blood in police holding cells and licking it up. His shirt had fresh blood stains when he appeared in court yesterday.
Nduna is said to have committed similar crimes in Hwange, Bulawayo, Chipinge and Masvingo.
He claims to be an agent of a satanic cult which thrives on human blood. The Chronicle
