Upcoming artiste Huby Blakes, real name Hubert Chitambura, is madly in love with award winning songstress Cynthia Mare and has declared his “undying love” in a single, “Cynthia Mare”.

The 22-year-old hip-hop artiste said while the feeling was not mutual with Mare, he was determined to win her over with the song.
“I wrote this song as a dedication to Cynthia Mare and it’s been out since last Friday. I follow most of her shows because I have a huge crush on her. I like her personality and how she is independent and sexy. I would like to date her because age is just a number,” he said.
In the song, he goes all out describing the “Zuva Rimwe” singer’s beauty – her graceful walk, dressing and how she speaks.
He even talks about how she usually wears his favourite colours and that she has got style.
“I like the way she smiles. Cute face nema dimples muma side. Even with no lip stick she’ll be fine.”
“She is the one I want to be with because she convinced me. This means whatever it takes I will do it right,” goes the song.
Huby Blakes dismissed the notion that he was a stalker despite having Mare’s pictures as profiles on various social media.
“I have told her how I feel and she was flattered. But her manager then called me up when they heard about the song. He was not happy but I don’t get what that was all about. I thought, dude my life is my music and my music is my diary. I write what I see and what I feel,” he said.
He said the altercation deterred his plans to have the songstress feature in the song’s video.
“I will probably use her video clips,” he said.
The song has been doing rounds on social media and will have its radio launch this week.
“Cynthia Mare” will also feature on Huby Blakes’ upcoming debut album “Black Minded”.
Other singles taken from the album include “Game Rachinja” and “Gwindingwi (thick forest)”. The Herald
