Mario Balotelli trained in a Liverpool kit for the first time as he awaits the completion of his £16m move from AC Milan.
With Brendan Rodgers’ side preparing for tonight’s clash with Manchester City, the Italian international was left behind at the club’s Melwood training ground to take part in an on-field session with Liverpool’s head of conditioning and fitness Ryland Morgans.
Balotelli touched down on Merseyside earlier today, having already undergone a medical at the end of last week and met to convince Rodgers that he was driven to succeed at Anfield.
The former City striker is expected to make an appearance at the Etihad Stadium this evening to watch his future and previous employers face off in the Premier League. Metro UK
