Sithole joined the Cape Town based side in January on a two year deal after being spotted at the Chan tournament where he put in a workmanlike shift for the Warriors.

The 25-year-old told respected South African online publication KickOff.com that he was now on the hunt for another club following the termination of his contract.

“My contract has been terminated and I am now on the hunt for another club,” said Sithole.

Sithole becomes the fifth Zimbabwean player to be rejected in South Africa after his namesake, Simba Rusike and Rodrick Mutuma who have since rejoined Dynamos, Highlanders’ Peter Rio Moyo and Evans Gwekwerere.

Meanwhile, former Highlanders and Bantu Rovers junior Marvelous Nakamba has signed a four-year deal with Dutch top league side Vitesse.

The 20-year-old, who was already on several weeks internship at Vitesse, previously played for the French Ligue2 side AS Nancy.

The player is set to join up with the first team as soon as all the proper paperwork is done.

Vitesse Technical director Mo Allach confirmed the transfer on the team’s official website;  “Marvelous Nakamba impressed the technical team with his personality and technical ability from day one. We are pleased to reward him with a contract. ”

Nakamba was naturally delighted with the achievement.

“I enjoyed my internship at Vitesse . I love the way the team play and the professional environment since my first day,” he said. — Chronicle
